Butterflies and Flowers🌷🦋🌹

 3/19/23

Today my Olive friends did two art projects fitting our theme.

We used paint and coffee filters to make butterflies. We painted coffee filters to make them bright and colorful for our butterfly wings and then we used pipe cleaners to create their antennas! My friends enjoyed putting on paint smocks and using water colors to create their pretty butterflies!!

We decided to hang them up from the ceiling so it would look like they are “flying” in our classroom!

Our second project, we had a big piece of white paper and used colored dotters to create dots/circles all over the paper to look like flower petals for our big flower mural. After my friends were done creating the dots, I then created stems off of the dots to create big flowers. My Olive friends really enjoyed going crazy with the dotters making pretty flowers!
