Today we put all of the pieces together for our sukkah decorations project. As a recap, so far we had: created an air dry clay as a class and made beads from the clay and painted our beads once they dried. The last piece of this project was to string beads onto the wire and add a wooden ring to the end. This is excellent fine motor practice that allows us to use the pincer grasp!
At our art easel, we did some observational paintings of etrogs and lulavs using green and yellow tempera paint sticks. We are beginning to see more representation in the pictures our friends create. The Olive friends are beginning to move beyond top to bottom motions with writing utensils. Circles, dots and horizontal lines are beginning to appear in our artwork!
