Car / Truck Color Sorting

Using different color mats and some cars around the classroom, my Olive friends did some car/truck color sorting. They all would search in a bucket of cars and around the classroom for car/trucks and then bring them to the correct color mat that they macthed. My friends did a great job sorting the colors!

The Olive children used two different colors, yellow and blue to create green! Using cars/trucks the children dipped the wheels into yellow and blue paint then let the cars drive around the paper. After some time with enough paint the colors will start to mix and the Children noticed that the color green was being made. One shouted “green!”
