Everyone was so excited to come back into the classroom after Winter Break. We began our Glitter and Rainbows exploration upon our return. On Wednesday we made glitter jars as a class. We added glue or corn syrup to a bottle and then sprinkled in the glitter. These bottles have made a beautiful addition to our light table. Once the bottles were made, we noticed we had lots of glitter on our table! We got out the glue and some paper to allow the children to explore in the glitter some more.
Today we created rainbows with liquid water colors on our easel. Using spray bottles, the children were able to combine and mix the colors. We practiced using our fine motor muscles and classroom boundaries by spraying only the easel with the watercolors.
