Edible Menorahs

Today we enjoyed an special snack to wrap up our Hanukkah unit before winter break.  Using pretzel sticks, bananas and chocolate chips, we made edible menorahs.  The children had a blast using their fine motor skills and creative thinking to make their menorah.  They had even more fun eating them!

Our sensory bin was decked out with animals trapped in ice.  The kiddos used water bottles and eye droppers to help melt the ice and free the animals.  We also practiced classroom boundaries like spraying into the bin, and not our friends.
