Today we took a bit of inspiration from our pumpkin activity this week to work on some hand-eye coordination. If you remember, last week friend's took a hammer to the inside of our pumpkins while we took a look to see what was inside. Today, we added golf tee's to a pumpkin and used a hammer to nail them in further. In addition to hand-eye coordination, this activity allows us to practice something "risky" in a controlled environment. Today it was a plastic hammer, but we practiced wearing eye protection and talking about safety rules.
