Playdough Towers

Today we revisited building with our small wooden blocks.  All toddlers are engineers.  We used that scientific curiosity to see what would happen if we added playdough to our wooden blocks.  We discussed how the playdough makes our blocks less likely to slip and fall, allowing us to make more elaborate and tall towers.  We talked about how when houses are built, mortar is used between the bricks to keep the wall up and the seal the cracks between the bricks.
