Clothespin Towers

Today during small group, we built with clothespins and Popsicle sticks.  We used our engineering skills to clip the clothespins to each other and to Popsicle sticks to make different structures and shapes.  This was a much smaller scale from our other tower explorations.  It allowed us to practice our ever important pincer grasp and to strengthen our hand muscles.  Activities like this allow us to work on our pre-writing skills!

Today was our day in the Big Muscle Room!  There were many large boxes in the room from various building deliveries.  The Olive crew enjoyed stacking and climbing on.  Our favorite thing was sitting inside the boxes!

Today we heard the shofar blow at the beginning of our day as part of our Rosh Hashanah celebrations!  We also had our Judaics Circle with Morah Grossbaum!
