Today we had our first water day of the school year. Everyone had so much fun playing in full body sensory play. We added shaving cream and bubbles to our fun! Water play is so important for young children. It helps them learn about their world and how their bodies move in space. When playing with other peers, it also allows us to work on turn taking and respecting boundaries set by other friends (not every one likes water splashing in their faces).
