Play-dough Portraits

This morning our playground was wet! We donned our rain boots and enjoyed exploring and experimenting with our playground in a new way.  Friends used the rain water collected on the toys to cook in the mud kitchen and of course enjoyed splashing!

Y: "I cooked!"

During small groups, we created portraits using play dough and loose parts.  We were also able to use some new play dough stampers that were gifted to our classroom off of our wish list! Creating our portraits allowed us to practiced our fine motor skills when we pinched off pieces and rolled out pieces of play dough to make different body shapes.

Today was our first day of Judaic lessons in the Olive class! We are fortunate to have Morah Grossbaum joining our class on Tuesdays and Fridays for lessons.
