Friend Puzzles

Continuing in our "All about Me" exploration, today we played with puzzles of our friends.  We enjoyed talking about who was in each picture and felt proud when we found the puzzle of ourselves. This activity helps us work on a variety of skills including sequencing, prepositions and body awareness.  When talking about sequencing we used works like first, next, and last. Examples of prepositions we used are on top, next to, in between, and under.  Hand-in-hand with prepositions and sequencing is body awareness.  As a group we discussed where our legs go and mentioned that they go on the bottom because we use them to walk and stand.

We have been able to enjoy time outside each day! Our Olive friends are great explorers.
