Family Collages

The Olive class has been excited about exploring glue at the Art Center over the last few days.  Today we made collages of our families using school glue and paper cutouts shaped like people.  Using the family pictures you sent in as references, we talked about the members of our families.  Pouring and watching the glue flow was a fantastic sensory exploration!

Today was our day in the Art Atelier.  This was the first opportunity our class had to explore this space as a whole group.  We worked together to create full scale pictures of ourselves.  Friends took turns laying down on butcher paper while Mrs. Rose traced their outline with a marker.  The class then worked together to color in their pictures.
