Tonight and tomorrow is the Jewish holiday of Shavuot! It is the holiday when the Jews got the Torah on mount Sinai. There are two customs we do for this holiday.
1. We eat dairy foods- it is customary because we are supposed to be like babies, pure and innocent.
2. It is also customary to learn all night long…..but my Olive kiddos and Ms Lauren took a different interpretation, they helped decorate mount Sinai with flower stickers to make it a pretty mountain to receive the Torah at.
The EC children were able to enjoy some ice cream today for the holiday!
The Olive children LOVED celebrating this holiday and eating their ice cream!
